SECTION 12 – THE ACADEMY – The Academy is a term that I use to refer to the majority of scientists and scholars today who share some important characteristics: (1) they are atheists or agnostics as opposed to theists, let alone Christians; (2) they are evolutionists as opposed to creationists; and (3) they are uniformitarianists as opposed to catastrophists.
